PASTOR HARRY STRACHAN

Keynote Speaker | Calvary Baptist Church - Ashland, Ohio

Pastor Strachan loves the church, and even though Calvary has seen growth from a small group of believers to an average attendance of over five hundred, it has continued to maintain a close-knit family atmosphere with a passion for serving people. God has blessed His church with beautiful facilities on 23 acres of land and a vision for continued growth.

Pastor Strachan has been in full time ministry since 1980. He has served as youth pastor, Christian school teacher, and assistant pastor. In 1996, he and his wife Andrea, along with their three children, moved to Ashland to assume the senior pastorate of Calvary Baptist Church.

Pastor Strachan graduated from Baptist Bible College Canada in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1986, he then went on to receive a Master of Biblical Studies in 1993 from Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, Alabama. In May of 2015 Pastor Strachan received his Doctor of Divinity degree from Heritage Baptist College of Franklin, Indiana.

From Our Conference Director

Craig Stumpf

Conference Director - Springfield, TN

We do what we do for the Gospel to get out.

There is nothing we do as a Christian that should not have an impact on what happens with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything in our lives should have a focal point of showing others who Jesus is and what the Gospel does.

When we work we should be looking to provide for our families to be able to grow, not just physically, but spiritually as well. We should look to wisely use our earned money to have an impact on the Gospel getting out through our church, missions and ourselves. Money should be looked at with a mindset of sacrifice, because the Gospel needs to be heard and God gave us the job to do that.

When we live we should be living to make sure that the Gospel is impacted by how we live. We need to actually share the Gospel, but we need to live in such a way that others see the difference the Gospel has made in our lives so they are drawn to what we have. Our lives need to reflect the Lord and all He has done so we can impact people with the Gospel.

When we serve we need to serve like lives depend on it because they do. If we ignore the opportunity to serve and impact others we miss the opportunity to have the Gospel go forward. We are all needed to serve, and we all need to make that choice to serve so that others can hear the Gospel and have that chance to believe.

I know that we don’t fully understand what Heaven will be like, but I believe that we will see fruit of the impact we have made on this earth.

• What we gave will not only be rewarded, but we will see the people we impacted.
• How we lived will not only be rewarded, but we will see the people we impacted.
• How we served will not only be rewarded, but we will see the people we impacted.

What are you doing for the Gospel’s sake? How are you giving?
How are you living?
How are you serving?
