HONORARY SPEAKER KIM WESTMORELAND
Mrs. Westmoreland was reached through the bus ministry of Bethel Baptist Church in 1971. As a result, she accepted Christ as her Savior during a chapel service at the age of 15. Mrs. Westmoreland went on to graduate from Tri-State Baptist College and marry Dr. Ron Westmoreland. She has served faithfully alongside her husband as he pastored the Bethel Baptist Church in Walls, Mississippi for over 32 years. Dr. Westmoreland now co-pastors the church with his son-in-law, David Sexton, who is the senior pastor. What a blessing it has been to serve with their family! Mrs. Westmoreland is forever indebted to the bus ministry and humbled at what the Lord has done in her life. Nahum 1:7 is the verse she claimed as a teenage girl -- "The Lord is good. A stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knoweth them that trust in Him."
CONFERENCE SPEAKER HEATHER SEXTON
Heather had the privilege of growing up in a pastor’s home and was saved at the age of eight. She dreamed of being a preacher’s wife one day and in 2004, God answered her prayer of marrying a preacher; his name was David Sexton. Over the next few years God gave them three precious girls. They worked on staff at their home church for seven years before they moved to Mapleton, Illinois. David pastored for six years. In 2017, God called them back to the Memphis area for David to take over as Pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church.
